Environment Canada says 50/50 Chance Muskoka Sees a White Christmas

Meteorologists with Environment Canada say the warmer than normal temperatures will not be leaving anytime soon.

The recent temperatures are something many people would expect to see in September and October. With this week looking to be the same as weeks past, Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says part of the warm air has to do with the super El Niño.

With Christmas only two weeks away, Kimbell says the chance of a white Christmas is slim, but he’s not ruling anything out.

He says rain is expected to fall for the rest of the week until Sunday night as there is a slight chance of flurries.
