Scarborough man identified as victim in fatal Bracebridge motorcycle crash

A Scarborough man is dead following a motorcycle collision in Bracebridge. OPP raced to the scene of the collision on Highway 118 east of town yesterday just before 3:30 pm.

The driver had been heading eastbound, 20 kilometres from Highway 11 where he lost control negotiating a curve and collided with a rock cut.  47 year-old Craig Anderson of Scarborough, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police would like to remind operators of all types of vehicles to be cognizant of the hazards present on highways at this time of year such as the presence of sand, gravel or other types of debris on the roadway in addition to the possibility of encountering wild life.
