Township of Muskoka Lakes reopens Windsor Park Dock following improvements

The Township of Muskoka Lakes has reopened Windsor Park Dock following rehabilitation work.

The park was temporarily closed on Sept. 8 to allow rehabilitation work to be carried out.

The Township said the rehabilitation work included installing new deck boards and additional structural supports.

Officials said the previous decking was about 25 years old and had reached the end of its useful life.

Township officials said that although repairs had been carried out over the years, further rehabilitation was needed to ensure the dock remains in good condition for years to come.
