The 2026 Food Truck Wars have officially wrapped up, raising nearly $4,000 for Community Living Huntsville.
Food Truck Wars ran from September 1 to 30, with nine food trucks from Huntsville, Dwight, Port Sydney, and Emsdale participating.
Officials said a portion of proceeds from a specialty featured dish from each food truck was donated to Community Living Huntsville, a registered not-for-profit charity that supports people with developmental disabilities in the community.
The 2026 Food Truck Wars Champion was Din’s Fresh Fries, who raised $1,285 through the sale of 720 single smash burgers.
Community Engagement Associate Laura Flynn presented the Din’s team with the official Food Truck Wars Trophy on October 15.
Flynn said the event’s success was driven by strong support from participating businesses and their customers.
“What stands out most about Food Truck Wars is the way the community showed up,” Flynn said. “The food trucks brought incredible energy and commitment to the event, and their customers brought the support and appetites that made it all possible.”
Flynn added that the funds raised will help Community Living Huntsville continue to provide critical services to people with developmental disabilities and their families.
“Everyone who got involved has helped move the work we do alongside people with developmental disabilities, their families, and our community forward, to create a more disability-inclusive future for everyone in North Muskoka,” she said.
