Community Living South Muskoka and OPSEU Local 305 say an agreement has been reached, and the strike is over.

In a statement, both parties say they share a deep commitment to the well-being of the people they serve, their families and the employees who deliver the essential care.

Officials say their members will be well supported through the transition back to regular staffing, which begins next Wednesday (Oct. 7).

The union says the strike lasted 93 days.
