The Bracebridge Fire Department, along with Muskoka EMS and the OPP, responded to a report of a minor fire at Muskoka Hills Retirement Villa.
At about 12:30 p.m. on May 15, Kevin Plested, director of emergency services and fire chief, said they received a report of a minor fire in one of the resident rooms.
All residents were evacuated and later allowed into another portion of the building. Plested said the part of the building affected by the fire will be uninhabitable.
No injuries were reported. More details will be provided as they become available.
