Applications now open for Huntsville grants program

The Town of Huntsville is now accepting applications for its 2026 Community Grants and Support Program.

The annual program provides both financial and non-financial assistance to local groups and organizations that deliver initiatives that help connect and strengthen the community.

The program offers two types of support. Grant funding can cover up to 50 per cent of the net cost of an event, project, or program, including facility rental expenses, to a maximum of $1,500. Organizations can also request promotional support items for use in fundraising events, such as free admission passes to Muskoka Heritage Place.

Town officials said that the program is intended to encourage new ideas and community growth rather than cover ongoing operating or administrative expenses.

Interested groups are encouraged to apply early, as funding is limited, and applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
