Healthcare in Huntsville is receiving another boost from the local business community.
The Huntsville Hospital Foundation (HHF) is recognizing Rolston Home Building Centre for renewing its $25,000 pledge through the Business Cares program for a third time.
HHF officials said contributions like this help ensure the hospital’s physicians and healthcare teams have access to essential tools and equipment needed to provide quality care. They said the latest pledge will go toward funding items such as new beds and stretchers, a CT scanner, crash carts, operating room tables, cataract trays, and updated software systems.
Rob and Cory Rolston said renewing their commitment was an easy decision and emphasized the importance of supporting healthcare in the region.
“Supporting Huntsville Hospital is important to us because it directly impacts the health and well-being of our community, our staff, our customers, and our families. We’re proud to continue investing in healthcare close to home,” they said in a statement.
Katherine Craine, HHF Chief Executive Officer, said the continued support from the Rolston’s is a great example of community partnership.
“It’s so great to have Rob and Cory Rolston continue their commitment to the Business Cares group of amazing partners. We truly believe it takes a village, and our community is the lucky recipient of their generosity,” said Craine.
According to officials, the Business Cares program now includes 60 local businesses and community leaders who contribute toward hospital equipment and priority projects. Demand for care continues to grow in the region, with Huntsville Hospital’s emergency department treating 1,825 patients in March alone.
