The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka raised $3.14 million through fundraising efforts throughout 2025 to support its programs and services.

That is according to their 2024-2025 Annual Report, which highlights the organization’s achievements throughout the past year.

“Every success, every connection, and every act of impact we’ve achieved this year has been made possible because of the people who believe in the power of the Y,” said Jill Tettmann, President and CEO of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka. “Whether you are a staff member, volunteer, donor, community partner, or participant, your dedication continues to move our mission forward – to bring people together and ignite their potential.”

According to the report, the organization served a total of over 64,000 participants across Simcoe County, Muskoka, and Parry Sound. This wide-ranging support included welcoming 19,215 newcomers to the area and assisting 4,631 people through YMCA Employment and Learning Services.

Additionally, the YMCA supported 156 youth in developing valuable skills, taught 8,517 individuals to swim at its Health, Fitness, and Aquatic centres, and provided safe spaces for more than 4,970 children in its licensed Child Care and Before and After School Care programs.

The organization also provided $316,865.14 in financial assistance to 1,189 households, ensuring accessibility to YMCA health, fitness, aquatics, and camp programs.

Officials said the organization looks forward to further extend their services through 2026.
