Local fire department wants you to be safe on Earth Day

Earth day is coming up and fire departments are urging you to avoid using candles. The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department says instead try using flashlights, battery operated lanterns or flameless candles. Fire Chief, Steve Hernen says if you choose to light candles make sure to check your smoke alarms as there is always an increased risk of fire.
