Parents and the kids who were hoping to cool down at the Gravenhurst Splash Pad will be disappointed.
The popular water attraction at Muskoka Wharf Sports Field is going to be closed for a portion of the summer.
In a statement from the town, the renovation of the splash pad is described as “extensive” with a $100,000 budget.
Work will include “reconstruction of the subgrade and the maintenance and repair of surface drainage, mechanical room and water features.”
If all goes well it should reopen on August 19th.
