Bryan Boland to appear for prelim hearing at Bracebridge court in September

Bryan Boland is one step closer to facing trial in Muskoka.

The Bracebridge man is set to appear for a preliminary hearing in September for his first-degree murder charge. Boland was arrested and charged last May after the body of his wife was found in the driveway of their home on Wellington Street. He’s been held in custody since.

A preliminary hearing provides a judge with the opportunity to review evidence and witnesses that would be used in a trial. No trial date has been set.
