Scotiabank in Port Carling Donates to Yearly Fundraiser Event

Scotiabank in Port Carling has made a generous donation to a local fundraising event.

Muskoka Chautauqua officials say they have received a donation of $4,000 towards their annual Flavors of Muskoka event held every July.

The fundraising event was held at the J.W. Marriott in Rosseau and it featured wine, beer and gourmet food tasting.

The proceeds from the event and the recent donation will go towards art education programs in the region.
