The Gravenhurst Fire Department is expanding on its Answer The Call recruitment campaign.
The volunteer fire service is looking to recruit more volunteers for its various departments in and around Gravenhurst, and is turning to social media.
Five videos have been posted to YouTube and feature current volunteers speaking about their experience fighting fires.
Chief Larry Brassard says that while these aren’t Hollywood Blockbusters, they are designed to get the message across.
Applications for the volunteer service are being accepted through September and the new recruits will start in January.
