Helping families with challenges is what the District of Muskoka looks to get done with their new program.
Services Community Facilitation Program helps Muskoka families with a number of things. Including, obtaining birth certificates, health cards, and social insurance cards.
They also help out with medical and dental development services. Manager of Children Services, Tina Kilbourne says there is a quick turnaround from applying for assistance and receiving it.
The program also provides funding for recreational activities, back to school supplies, and winter clothing.
