The swimming advisories that were in place for Franklin Park Beach and Bass Lake Park Beach in Gravenhurst have been lifted on July 2.
The advisories were issued on June 17 after water testing at those locations showed elevated levels of E. coli.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit said the advisories were issued to help protect residents and visitors from potential health risks, as higher E. coli levels can raise the chance of sickness among swimmers.
The latest water tests, conducted on June 29, showed bacteria levels below 200 E. coli per 100mL, which resulted in the advisories being lifted.
Currently, the only beach in Muskoka with an active swimming advisory is Hanna Park Beach in Muskoka Lakes, following the most recent water test conducted on June 30.
