The Cottage Country Family Health Team is offering free cervical cancer screening education sessions to residents of South Muskoka.
According to officials, cervical cancer screening guidelines have changed in the last year. The sessions aim to help participants better understand how updated screening recommendations may affect them, while highlighting the importance of early detection and the screening options available to support long-term health.
In-person sessions will be held March 24 from 10 to 11 a.m. and March 30 from 4 to 5 p.m. An additional online session is scheduled for March 25 from 1 to 2 p.m.
The sessions are open to all South Muskoka residents. Those interested in attending are asked to register in advance by emailing kboll@ccfht.ca.
