A 43-year-old Gravenhurst man is facing child pornography charges following an investigation by the OPP’s Muskoka Crime Unit.
According to police, an investigation into child pornography launched by the Muskoka Crime Unit in November led to police issuing a search warrant at a McEachern Lane residence in Gravenhurst on December 19.
Police said during the search, officers, with the support of the OPP digital forensic unit and the OPP child sexual exploitation unit, seized several electronic devices for examination.
As a result, a 43-year-old from Gravenhurst was arrested and has been charged with two counts of importing/distributing and accessing child sexual abuse material, along with one count of possession.
The accused is slated to appear in court in Bracebridge on March 3.
