Trillium Lakelands District School Board collects over $9,400 for its Feed All Four Fund

The Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) raised $9,455 to support families experiencing job loss and food and financial insecurity during two separate fundraisers last year.

According to officials, the funds were collected through the Feed All Four Fund.

The first fundraiser was the fifth annual Jersey Day, held on Nov. 28. This initiative encouraged students and staff across all schools and education centres to wear their favourite jersey or t-shirt while donating a toonie or more to the board-wide fundraiser.

Officials said the initiative featured an added online silent auction component. This included two Toronto Maple Leafs memorabilia items: a signed Auston Matthews jersey and a team-signed stick.

The second fundraiser took place on Dec. 18 at the Lindsay Education Centre. Officials said staff took part in a long-standing tradition of a loonie auction as a fun-filled way to celebrate the upcoming holiday while raising funds to support students.

According to officials, 100 per cent of all funds collected will go to provide direct assistance to students and their families who may need a little extra support.

Officials said over 200 families received various forms of assistance from this fund during the 2024-2025 school year.
