OPP, Huntsville High School to host a charity hockey game in support of Corner Lighthouse Foodbank

The Huntsville High School Hoyas will play the Huntsville OPP in a charity hockey game on Dec. 19 at 11:30 a.m. at the Jack Bionda Arena to benefit the Corner Lighthouse Foodbank.

“The true winner of this event will not be the team with the most goals, but rather the Corner Lighthouse Foodbank,” said officials.

Students and members of the public attending the game are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.

According to officials, OPP officers will display their new team jerseys, thanks to their partnership with Capstone Venture.

The OPP recognized teacher/coach Graham Yeo for his hard work in organizing his team, the officials, and the volunteers to ensure a great community event.

“If you want to show our community pride, come out to watch the game! No one individual or service can do it all,” said officials.
