Lakeland donates $2,500 to the The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation

Lakeland Holdings, which owns and operates Lakeland Power and Generation, is donating $2,500 and non-perishable food items to The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation.

Officials say the donation comes through a new initiative tied to its Annual Golf Partner Appreciation Day, which was held on Oct. 3 at the North Granite Ridge Golf Club in Port Sydney.

“We’re incredibly grateful to our partners for joining us and supporting The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation, whose work is vital to our community,” said Chris Litschko, CEO of Lakeland Holding Ltd. “This year, we wanted to deepen our appreciation by giving back to the very communities that support us all.”

According to officials, this year, through a spirited hole-in-one contest, participants raised $1,500, and Lakeland topped up the donation with an additional $1,000. Officials say attendees also contributed hundreds of non-perishable food items, reinforcing the event’s spirit of giving.

Officials said the company looks forward to continuing this tradition of gratitude and community impact in the years to come.
