Three people have been charged in connection to a string of break and enters in Gravenhurst.
Provincial Constable Samantha Bigley says police responded to multiple break-and-enters on Nov. 8 and 9 in downtown Gravenhurst.
A 33-year-old from Gravenhurst has been charged with breaking and entering, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, trafficking in stolen goods, possession of a schedule one substance, and failing to comply with a release order. A 30-year-old, also from Gravenhurst, has been charged with breaking and entering, mischief over $5,000, mischief under $5,000, and theft under $5,000. The third person, a 43-year-old from Gravenhurst, has been charged with two counts of breaking and entering and trafficking of stolen goods.
All of the suspects have court appearances scheduled in Bracebridge.
The break-and-enters happened over the course of 24 hours in downtown Gravenhurst. The front windows of multiple businesses were smashed during the robberies.
