OPP investigating multiple break-and-enters in Gravenhurst

The Bracebridge OPP is looking to the public for help as they investigate a string of break-and-enters in Gravenhurst.

According to Provincial Constable Adrian Woods, the first happen on Nov. 8 around 5:10 AM. The front window of a downtown Gravenhurst business was damaged and multiple valuable items were stolen. Almost 24 hours later, Woods says another downtown business had its front window damaged and items stolen.

The two break-and-enters have not been confirmed as being related. However, Woods says police are investigating them as being connected since both happened under similar circumstances.

“We are reminding everyone to ensure that doors and access points are secure and that valuable items are not stored in plain view of the public to avoid becoming potential victims,” says Woods.

Woods asks anyone who may have information on what happened to call the Bracebridge OPP at 888-310-1122 or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
