Flooding is still a concern in South Muskoka warns MNRF

With all this heavy rain starting off the week, you can expect to see more flooding in parts of Muskoka.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is keeping a Flood Warning in effect for the South Branch of the Muskoka River and Moon River/Bala Reach.
Officials say the water levels are still way above normal and will likely get higher with the excessive rainfall today.
The MNRF says if you’re living in a flood prone area, you’ll want to make sure your sump pump is working and things like docks are secure on the shoreline.
We can expect another update on the flood conditions this Friday.
