GRAVENHURST,ON– The snow has arrived and residents being are reminded that from now until to April 30th, parking on any Gravenhurst roadway between 12:00 am and 7:00 am is prohibited.
The community’s winter parking by-law ensures plow operators can effectively clear municipal streets of snow without obstructions.
Anyone failing to follow the by-law may have their vehicles towed to an impound lot at the their expense.
While clearing driveways and paths this winter, residents are also reminded not to push snow onto the road, as it can cause hazardous driving conditions to motorists and is an offense under the Highway Traffic Act.
The Gravenhurst By-law & Public Works departments say they appreciate the public’s cooperation and look forward to a safe winter season!
