HUNTSVILLE, ON- Would-be pumpkin spice seekers will have a new location to head to in November.
The area’s first Starbucks franchise will be opening up its doors towards the end of November, according to AMG Construction Inc., who are currently building the company’s branch in Huntsville.
The business will be located near the re-located Canadian Tire gas bar, off of King William Street near the Huntsville Place Mall.
The company’s office told the MyMuskokaNow.com newsroom that the official opening day will be November 21st.
AMG is currently ahead of schedule in their build timeline, but indicated the opening date is coming down from Starbucks themselves. The new operation will have a drive-through, as well as interior seating.
At the time of the project’s approval by Huntsville town council, there had been concerns raised by Councillor Bob Stone about traffic flow in the already busy area.
Town staff informed council that plans for the traffic flow in the area were approved by the District of Muskoka, and the provincial transportation ministry.
The closest Starbucks locations prior to this franchise opening were in Orillia and Parry Sound.
