MUSKOKA, ON – Two hydro providers are scrambling to get power back to several thousand customers.
Both Hydro One and Lake Power are reporting outages.
Hydro One’s outage is in Bracebridge and stretches from south of the 118 to north of Baysville.
That outage has knocked out power to 2,644 customers in the area. The estimated restoration time is 8:00 pm tonight.

The Lakeland Power outage appears to be in smaller pockets of land without power, the biggest outage stretches from the Muskoka Highlands Golf Course to the Muskoka River. All of their outages combined have left over 4,000 customers in the dark.
Lakeland has posted an estimated restoration time of 7:00 pm.
