OPP investigating sudden death in Huntsville

On May 20, 2019 at approximately 10:30pm, members from the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to assist a person in medical distress at a residence located on Main Street West in Town of Huntsville.

A 28-year-old female was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. As a result, an investigation into this death is ongoing with members of the Huntsville OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Matt Watson of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and with the assistance of the Community Street Crime Enforcement Unit.
