An update on whether a Huntsville landmark can be saved will be provided tomorrow.
The Madill Church Preservation Society is holding a public meeting Thursday at 7:30 pm at the Annex in town. The group is trying to preserve and restore the church but it says more funds are needed.
According to members, they have successfully purchased the Madill Church, hosted successful fundraisers and been given charitable tax status by the Canada Revenue Agency.
The organization wants to start the restoration process over the summer but needs more help from the community.
The preservation group added that anyone is welcome to attend, hear about what has happened over the past year and what the future holds.
