The Town of Huntsville is asking for patience from residents as it works on area roads.
Manager of Operations Lee Ripenburg says crews continue to chip away at the ice and prepare for the spring runoff. Repair work on the many potholes that have appeared over the winter is also being done.
“Spring is coming and while we are still dealing with the effects of winter, we have lots to prepare for spring conditions too,” says Ripenburg.
Other work includes grading roads to remove deep ruts, removing ice from roads and snow from parking areas and opening drainage ditches and clearing catch basins.
