A Huntsville woman is $100,000 richer.
Julie Groomes picked up the big pay day thanks to a Lotto 6/49 ticket. She matched six of seven Encore numbers in exact order on the January 19th draw.
The winning ticket was bought at the PlayOLG website.
“I buy my Lotto MAX and Lotto 6/49 tickets with Encore online because I always forget to check my tickets,” laughed Julie, a 53-year old personal support worker, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
Groomes got an email letting her know of her big win.

“I spent most of the day in a daze,” she smiled.
Groomes, who’s been married for 22 years, plans on paying bills and travelling to Costa Rica.
“It’s surreal,” she concluded.
