Snow squall watch for Muskoka

A snow squall watch is in effect for Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Baysville, Port Carling, and Port Severn.

Environment Canada says you should be on the lookout for any adverse weather conditions or any sudden changes in the driving conditions. They can cause whiteout conditions on the roads.

Snow squalls are coming off Georgian Bay tonight and could move through the area. About two to four centimetres of snow expected to fall tonight, with another five tomorrow. If you’re planning on heading west or north of Muskoka keep in mind a snow squall warning is in place for much of the District of Parry Sound.

The MyMuskokaNow.com newsroom is monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.
