No one hurt, no cause yet, in Fraserburg Rd. fire

No one was hurt in a fire on Fraserburg Road.

The blaze broke out last night on a farm a little before 5:00pm. Bracebridge Fire Chief Murray Medley tells MyMuskokaNow.com that the fire involved two buildings, one of which was fully engulfed when crews arrived.

Although the first building was completely destroyed, they were able to save the second before the fire caused any major damage.

Chief Medley says firefighters were on-scene for about three hours before the fire was totally out. Some stubborn hot spots were to blame. Four trucks from Station 1 and a tanker from Station 2 were called in to help battle the fire.

Chief Medley says there’s no estimate at this time on a dollar value in damages, and that there’s no word of a cause yet either. The fire is not, however, believed to be suspicious.
