Bus routes will be altered during the Fire and Ice Festival this weekend.
Changes will be in effect for January 26th as Manitoba Street closes down to make way for the popular event.
Stop 270 on Taylor Road at Hiram will be closed for the day. A new temporary stop – 270B will be in place 50 metres north of the current location.
Also affected, stop 280, St. Thomas Anglican Church at Manitoba and Mary Street, will also be served by the 270B stop on Taylor Road north of Hiram.
Bus stop 290, the Shier building at 173 Manitoba Street will be served by either stop 300 at Ann Street or stop 350 – McDonald Street at Manitoba.
Finally stop 120, Bird Mill Mews, is closed from 4:00pm to 6:30pm and has stop 130, (the Royal Canadian Legion – 168 Muskoka Road) or stop 270B north of Hiram on Taylor Road.
