An 11-year-old is recovering in Toronto after crashing his snowmobile in Gravenhurst.
Police, Muskoka EMS and Gravenhurst Fire were all called out after the child crashed his snowmobile into a tree while riding on Kahshe Lake Monday night. The OPP reports the young rider was doing donuts on the frozen lake when he lost control.
He was flown to Sick Kids in Toronto to be treated for a broken arm and facial injuries. Police say he was wearing a helmet, which likely protected him from much more serious injuries.
