A RIDE stop in Huntsville is leading to drunk driving and drug-related charges.
On Friday, Huntsville OPP officers pulled over a vehicle at a RIDE check point on Muskoka Road 3 in the town. Officers arrested the driver, a 25-year-old woman from Bracebridge, and charged her with impaired driving.
The passenger, a 32-year-old Huntsville man, was reportedly found to have cocaine and marijuana on him. He was also arrested and charged with illegal possession of drugs and having over 30mg of marijuana.
Both will answer to their charges at the Bracebridge court in February.
