A three-vehicle crash closed Muskoka Road 118W for a few hours.
The incident took place after 5:00pm Thursday evening when a tractor-trailer, Jeep-SUV, and a one-ton truck collided.
The tractor-trailer ended up being jack-knifed across the road.
The Muskoka Lakes Fire Department, Muskoka Paramedic Services and the Bracebridge OPP all responded to the incident just east of Port Carling.
The driver and passengers in the Jeep were rescued by fire crews using the Jaws of LIfe.
Muskoka Lakes Fire is reporting there were no life-threatening injuries but the occupant of the Jeep was ultimately air-lifted to Toronto’s Sunnybrook Hospital.
The highway is now re-opened.
