A Bracebridge woman is facing charges following a crash over the weekend.
On Saturday, the OPP was called after witnesses saw a vehicle drive into the ditch on Falkenburg Road. The people in the vehicle reportedly got out and took off on foot with a case of beer.
Police tracked them down to a nearby home. A 34-year-old woman was arrested and charged with impaired driving.
Officials say driving impaired is dangerous enough, but it’s even more deadly when winter conditions are involved. The OPP is reminding all drivers to make sure alcohol in your vehicle is sealed and stored as far away from the driver as possible.
