The Bracebridge OPP and a local snowmobile club are partnering for a drop-in session.
The Snowcrest Riders Snowmobile Club and the OPP are combining forces to introduce snowmobiling to new participants and make sure existing sledders are ready for the new season.
An open house is taking place on Saturday, January 5th at Northland Recreation’s new store location, on Highway 11 northbound just south of Gravenhurst – (1868 Highway 11 – Kilworthy).
Members of the OPP will conduct courtesy checks of sleds and answer questions that will help keep riders legal and safe while riding area trails.
Representatives from the Snowcrest Riders will also inform people about what events are coming up, and what improvements have been made to the trails in the Gravenhurst area.
Northland Recreation will be bringing samples of the latest gear for people to look at.
The Bracebridge OPP is encouraging people to take advantage of having industry experts all in one place during this start of season kick off. Â
