The Parry Sound Muskoka area is under a freezing rain warning.
Environment Canada warns the dangerous weather is expected to hit the area Thursday night, dragging out until Friday morning. Some reports suggest we could see up to 10mm of freezing rainfall before it switches to regular rain.
Driving is expected to be hazardous, and officials warn if you don’t need to be on the road, put off travel until Friday when it warms up.
