The kids are getting an early start to Christmas break.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board reports buses are cancelled to all Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board schools including St. Dom’s, MMO and Saint Mary’s. Students with TLDSB schools already have the day off.
Muskoka Christian School is also closed.
Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Services is also cancelling all buses for east and west Parry sound as well as the Almaguin area.
Officials say icy conditions have been reported on the roads with the ongoing rainfall and just below zero temperature.
Schools may still be open, but if you’re dropping your kids of you’ll need to pick them up again as the buses won’t be running this afternoon either.
