OTTAWA SHOOTINGS UPDATE #19: US President Barack Obama watching Ottawa situation closely

President Barack Obama is watching the situation in Ottawa very closely.  The CBC reports Obama will be holding a briefing in the next half hour.  The U-S Embassy in Ottawa is on lock down. The front doors of the Canadian Embassy in Washington DC have been locked but staff is allowed to come in and out. Ottawa police say no arrests have been made in today’s shootings in Ottawa.  They do not have anyone in custody.  One shooter is confirmed dead.  The R-C-M-P is expected to be out with an update in the next 30 minutes.
