The Trillium Lakelands District School Board is looking for occasional elementary school teachers to start ASAP.
According to the board, they are looking to hire teachers to be a part of the Occasional Teacher List.
If you are applying, the board says you will need to be able to cover two of three divisions, meaning Primary, Junior or Intermediate classes. Although they are not required, the board says French qualifications, math qualifications and special education qualifications are all an asset.
The board explains to My Muskoka Now.com that anyone looking to apply needs to send in a cover letter, a resume with teaching experience and a copy of their OCT certificate, as well as three teaching related references.
