Golf tourney brings in $30,000 for Huntsville hospital

It was the biggest Huntsville Downs Golf Club Annual Tournament yet.

Everything’s been counted and it raised a record $30,000 for the Huntsville Hospital. The tournament itself took place back in September with 100 golfers taking part.

“We can’t say enough great things about this tournament. Huntsville Downs is a beautiful setting, great people and an amazing committee has made this event grow each year! On behalf of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation board members and staff, we want to express how grateful we are for this community event. Thank you to all involved’, says Katherine Craine, Executive Director for the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

The Huntsville Hospital Foundation has been a registered charity since 1984 and is dedicated to improving healthcare services for people in Muskoka and East Parry Sound. The money it raises helps to buy things like new medical equipment.
