Muskoka Lakes Chamber is looking for some local help as it prepares to host a major provincial event.
The chamber is hoping to get $10,000 in funding from Muskoka Lakes Township to help pay for the cost of hosting the Ontario Chamber of Commerce AGM. The meeting will be held in Minett next May and is expected to bring hundreds of business officials as well as some government representatives to the area. Chamber officials this is a great opportunity for Muskoka Lakes to show off its tourism prowess to community representatives from across the province.
Gravenhurst Council has already agreed to partner with the event offering $5,000 in funding.
