Senior staff at Town of Gravenhurst take ALS plunge

Despite a drop in ALS Ice Bucket Challenges, senior staff at the Town of Gravenhurst recently took the plunge. Staff and colleagues cheered on a number of people as they lined up outside of the Municipal Office. The Township of Muskoka Lakes senior management team and neighbouring Muskoka townships, including: Huntsville, Bracebridge and Lake of Bays issued the challenge. ALS is a progressive neuromuscular disease that causes nerve cells die and leave voluntary muscles paralyzed. Approximately 2,500 – 3,000 Canadians currently live with this fatal disease.
