About 20 crashes reported in Parry Sound over three days

Severe weather isn’t the main reason for the high number of collisions Parry Sound recently  West Parry Sound OPP says the collisions happened between January 27th and the 29th. Police charged five drivers in those cases. They say the number one cause of crashes in the winter is speed and are asking drivers to adjust to the conditions of the road. Black ice is a constant danger this time of year. Police say defensive and responsible driving is critical to reduce death and serious injuries on our roads.
