Bracebridge’s Community Improvement Plan is still a popular fund for local businesses.
The town budgeted $100,000 this year towards providing assistance for business owners looking to improve the façade of their buildings, wanting to update store signs and other improvement projects. Almost all of the budgeted funds have been promised out to nearly 40 upgrade projects around the town.
Last year, the town budgeted $110,000 and went over budget by over $60,000 due to the overwhelming interest in the fund. The fund was implemented in 2016.
