A Parry Sound man’s facing numerous charges after a police pursuit. Bracebridge OPP say it happened last Saturday. At 1:22am, police were on Muskoka Road 169 in Gravenhurst doing a traffic stop. The stopped driver took off on them and police gave chase, but he got away. The vehicle was later found near Bala after it crashed into a hydro pole and the driver had fled. The K-9 Unit was called in, but they still couldn’t find him. After more investigation, the 42 year old was caught and charged with failing to stop for police and theft of a motor vehicle amongst others. He’ll be in Bracebridge court on Tuesday to face the music.
