Friends of Algonquin Park says we are at near peak when it comes to the fall colours. About 70 per cent of the trees in and around Algonquin Park have changed colour and 10 per cent of leaf fall has been reported. This year’s colours are reported to be more vibrant than last year. Senior Climatologist with Environment Canada David Phillips said the wet summer was great for the trees and plants this year and we should expect a wide variety of colours throughout Parry Sound-Muskoka.
